“How to F.R.A.M.E.TM Your Coaching and Mentoring”
Being a leader is hard work. In part, because in addition to your ongoing functional responsibilities, there are always ‘people’ issues you have to deal with, as well.
The fundamental truth is this: People cause problems! Without people, there would be far fewer problems with communications, teamwork, productivity, morale, cross-training, mistakes, confidence, and a near-infinite number of other mix-ups, mess-ups, and let-downs.
It’s almost as if that’s what they do for a living!
And whose job is it to handle all these problems? Yours! And how? By coaching and mentoring them back from the brink.
Program Philosophy
Coaching and mentoring are increasingly important (read: essential) elements of a leader’s toolkit. But why are so few leaders particularly skilled at conducting such important (read: essential) conversations?
The main reason why more leaders don’t coach or mentor more effectively than they do is that they likely have never learned HOW. They were never taught. It’s like trying to navigate through a dark room that’s filled with sharp, pointy pieces of furniture – of course it’s going to feel uncomfortable!
But there’s a huge difference between INCAPABILITY and UNFAMILIARITY, and “How to Better F.R.A.M.E. Your Coaching and Mentoring” is designed to turn on the lights so you can consistently have more relevant, meaningful, an impactful conversations and interactions with your staff.
